Agenda
Agile Development using Low-Fidelity Prototypes, Expression Blend and SketchFlow
One of the biggest new developments revealed by Microsoft at the recent Mix09 conference was SketchFlow. Aimed at rapid, inexpensive prototyping of user experiences, SketchFlow (part of the upcoming Expression Studio 3 release) will allow designers and developers to quickly mock up screens and workflows, and to exchange feedback and notes between designers, developers and customers. In this session, Lab49 will demonstrate how, by starting with low-fidelity mockups and alternating between exploration of new ideas and convergence to more refined designs, we were able to develop a totally innovative new user experience. Next, we will show how using SketchFlow and Microsoft Expression Blend 3 will bring a whole new level of sophistication and ease to the process of designing new user experiences.
